North Tipperary's Minister of State is highly critical of Sinn Fein's Stability Treaty leaflet.

Deputy Alan Kelly says the party's guide to the Treaty once again proves the incompetence of Sinn Fein’s economic arguments claiming their figures just don’t add up.

He points in particular to references to Ireland's GDP where the Sinn Fein figures claim a zero-point-one per cent penalty would at one point be €500 million while another says €160 million.

Alan Kelly says this once again highlights how Sinn Fein’s arguments against the Stability Treaty are not based on sound economics and how they are cynically and deliberately confusing the issue.
