Significant jobs announcement for Tipperary

There's good news on the jobs front in North Tipperary.

Up to 40 new jobs are to be created by a medical devices company in Ballina.

Technopath, which is located in the Fort Henry Business Park, are to invest €3 million on their manufacturing capability and to drive export activity.

Local Minister of State Alan Kelly says the expansion, which is supported by Enterprise Ireland, comes as a result of the Government's Action Plan for jobs.
