There's been another major fall in activity in the housing sector in County Tipperary.
The latest National Housing Construction Index shows that planning applications in Tipperary for the first half of 2012 are down 23% at 276 while the number of projects commencing are down 29% to 103.
Nationally the number of planning applications is down nearly 20% on last year – while the number of projects commencing are down 7%.
