Serious hospital overcrowding in Tipperary again

There’s chronic overcrowding at the main hospital for North Tipperary patients again today.

51 people are stuck on trolleys and chairs awaiting admission at Limerick University Hospital.

The situation isn’t much better at South Tipp General with 37 people on makeshift beds or chairs in the ED, on the wards or along the corridors.

Overall nationwide there are 596 patients on trolleys today.
