Sentencing adjourned in Tipp assault case

Sentencing has been adjourned in the case of a Tipperary man convicted of assaulting two young women.

Brian Hanrahan of Ballintotty, Nenagh was found guilty last February of punching and kicking one woman and hitting another in March of 2016.

The 34 year old Garda was back before the court for sentencing today.

However Judge Elizabeth McGrath agreed to adjourning the case for two months to allow for preparation of an expert psychological report.
