Thousands of secondary school students could be forced to stay at home on Monday – if industrial action by teachers goes ahead.
17 hundred members of the ASTI union have threatened to withdraw from supervision and substitution duties as part of their row over pay and conditions.

Talks between union officials and the Department of Education are set to continue over the weekend in a bid to avert the action.
