The Office of Public Works has confirmed that scaffolding which has been in place there since 2010 is to be removed.
It follows the completion of conservation works on the 900 year old Cormacs Chapel.

There had been criticism of how the renowned heritage site looked with the scaffolding in place.
However local County Councillor and former guide at the Rock of Cashel Tom Wood says it hasn't impacted on visitor numbers – 2,000 people passed through the gates in the fortnight after Christmas.
