The state of the art facility shut down in 2011 with the loss of 133 jobs and has lain idle ever since.

While the details of the deal are not yet known, it's expected that a significant number of jobs will be created in the South Tipp town.

Junior Agriculture Minister and Tipperary TD Tom Hayes says that it would not be appropriate to speculate on the amount of jobs but he is confident that it will be a large number.
