Safety urged on roads this Bank Holiday Monday

Seven people have been arrested for public order offences across County Tipperary over the weekend in Nenagh, Thurles, Clonmel and Templemore.

There are no reports of any serious road traffic accidents with Gardaí appealing to motorists  in Tipperary driving home this Bank Holiday Monday  to be

vigilant for driver fatigue.

Seven new penalty point offences have come into force this weekend – mostly to do with the wearing of seat belts.
