Ryan o Meara and Alan Kelly take the last two seats for Tipperary North

The counts have finally been completed in Thurles and the line up of TDs that will represent Tipperary North and South in the 34th Dáil have been confirmed.

Labour’s Alan Kelly made the Quota and claimed the 2nd seat in Tipp North after a partial recount today and the completion of the 10th Count to redistribute the transfers from the elimination of Michael Smith.

Cllr Smith’s Fianna Fail running mate Ryan O’Meara took the final seat without making the Quota.

Michael Lowry was the first TD elected locally on Saturday night and Mattie McGrath, Fine Gael’s Michael Murphy and Seamus Healy were elected in Tipperary South Yesterday.

Alan Kelly has told TippFM News he was dedicating the win to his father, who is in pallative care.

Ryan O’Meara has told TippFM News he did not believe the result until it had happened.,
