Robert and Christina Wheeler of West End Motors had appealed the refusal of permission by North Tipperary County Council.

They had sought permission for a vehicle showroom and display area on the old N7.

An Bord Pleanala has also ruled against the proposals on the grounds that it would intensify traffic at the location and would endanger public safety.
