Temperatures starting to rise across the Premier

An Orange warning for low temperatures and ice for Tipperary and 14 other counties could bring travel disruption today.

The warning is in place until 8am however a countrywide yellow warning runs until midday.

Light snowfall and rain is being reported in some parts of the county this morning.

According to Transport Infrastructure Ireland road temperatures are still around minus 1.

Main roads have been salted by Tipperary County Council but black ice could still be an issue with caution advised on all routes.

A number of minor roads are still in a treacherous condition.
