The running costs associated with solar speed warning signs is becoming an issue for Tipperary County Council.
The matter was raised at the April meeting of Clonmel Borough District following a notice of motion from Councillor Richie Molloy.
He had asked that the local authority repair the solar speed panel on the Cashel Road in the town.
District Engineer Eamon Lonergan said this would be followed up but highlighted the costs involved.
