Gardai and the RSA are urging people to take extra care on the roads after two men lost their lives yesterday.

It brings the total number of people killed on our roads so far this year to 97.

The August Bank Holiday is one of the busiest times of the year, with thousands commuting for the long weekend.

Garda Chief Superintendent Aidan Reid says extra Gardai are out in force.
