Mother of Tipperary crash victim backs major new road safety campaign

Rural roads are the target of a new hard hitting campaign from the Road Safety Authority.

Almost 3 in every 4 road deaths happen on rural routes.

The advert follows a commuter’s daily drive to work in a ‘Groundhog day’ manner, highlighting the unintentional speeding by drivers.

Adam Case, was a back-seat passenger when the driver of the car he was traveling in lost control and struck a tree on a narrow rural road in North Tipp just three miles from his home in Shinrone in 2017.

His mother Sharon Cleary says this powerful RSA campaign is so important and that anything which helps prevent another tragedy like this is absolutely necessary.
