Gardaí in Tipperary are reminding people to ensure animals are kept secure.
It follows an incident on Monday night when a motorist was seriously injured following a collision with horses wandering on the road near Gortnahoe.
Two of the horses died instantly in the crash while the third had to be put down due to its injuries.
Inspector James White says people need to be responsible for their animals and ensure they’re not a danger to road users.
