A motorist is facing court after being detected at more than twice the legal speed limit by Gardaí from Cahir.
Members of the Roads Policing Unit stopped a vehicle travelling at 129 kilometres per hour in a 60 zone on the outskirts of Clerihan yesterday.
The driver will be prosecuted as a result.
