Caution advised as temperatures plummet across the Premier

A nationwide status yellow low temperature and ice warning remains in place this morning.

Tipperary County Council crews have been treating 1,100 kilometres of Primary, Secondary and Regional roads overnight however caution is still advised on all routes as temperatures have gone as low as minus 4.

The weather warning is due to expire at 11am – but an advisory for sleet and snow will come into effect at midnight.
