Caution advised as Status Orange weather warning remains in place

Sub-zero temperatures affected many areas overnight as a Status Orange low temperature and ice warning remains in place until 11 this morning.

While a status yellow low temperature and ice warning will remain in place for the entire country until lunchtime tomorrow.

Road temperatures remain below freezing with motorists being warned to prepare for black ice even on treated roads.

According to Transport Infrastructure Ireland road temperatures in Tipperary are hovering around minus 4 degrees with air temperatures down at minus 6 in some parts of the county
