Concern has been expressed about the level of speeding at Inch National school in the Ragg.

The Board of Management has lobbied local councillors to have the speeding problem addressed.

Over 60 pupils attend the school on the road from Templemore to The Ragg.

A speed detection van is to be placed there in the coming weeks to determine the extent of speeding in the area.

However Councillor Eddie Moran says they are limited in what else they can do to tackle the problem.
