River Suir sports course officially opens

There will be a Minister in town for the launch of the new canoe slalom course in Clonmel later.

Junior Tourism Minister Patrick O’Donovan will be officially opening the course for the River Suir Community Sports Hub.

The launch precedes the Canoeing Ireland Club Championships which will be held locally over the weekend.

There will be 300 competitors in the various events over the two days, including the slalom competition.
