Residents assured Kilmoyler house will not be used for emergency accommodation

Residents in the Kilmoyler area have been given assurances that a local hotel will not be used to house international protection applicants.

Following a meeting between the the residents of Toureen and Kilmoyler and owners, Donie and Don Keating, TippFM has been informed that Kilmoyler House will not be used for emergency accommodation.

The local residents are now appealing for ‘normalcy’ to return to the area and an end to all social media discussions on this topic.

However, it’s also understood that a public demonstration is planned to take place outside the 18th century building by the group known as Tipperary Concerned Residents on Sunday the 14th of July.
