Replacement x-ray machine sourced for Cashel Hospital.

X-ray services are to resume at Our Lady's Hospital in Cashel in the coming weeks.

Deputy Michael Lowry has today received assurances from Senior Management in the HSE that an alternative x-ray machine has been identified and secured for Our Lady's.

The transfer of this equipment is now being arranged with x-ray services set to recommence in Cashel in 2 to 3 weeks.

X-ray services in Our Lady's had been unavailable in recent weeks as the existing machine was out of order – it was subsequently found to be beyond repair.
