Protesters have clashed with Greek riot police in the first anti-government demonstration since the leftist Syriza party came to power.
Petrol bombs were hurled, shop windows smashed and cars burned.

The unrest came ahead of a vote in the German parliament today on whether to extend Greece's bailout.
