A Tipperary man charged with the murder of a 90-year-old farmer in County Waterford has been further remanded in custody after his third court appearance in Dungarvan today.

26 year old Ross Outram, with an address at Ferryland, Waterford Road, Clonmel, is charged with the murder of Paddy Lyons near Ballysaggart last February.

Judge Terence Finn noted a file has been sent to the DPP for consideration and said the court was satisfied to consider an extension of time to allow for service of the Book of Evidence.

Judge Finn remanded the accused into custody to appear again at Dungarvan District Court next Wednesday, 12th April.
