The 53 year old lost his battle with cancer at St Vincents Hospital in Dublin this morning.
Tony was one of the most recognisable voices in Irish radio with former colleague Dave Fanning one of many paying tribute to him today..

He worked in the industry for more than 25 years, starting out in pirate radio before moving to 2FM and then joining Today FM in 2004.
