The Clancy Brothers Music Festival was first held over the June Bank Holiday weekend in 2008 and has grown down through the years.

A year later the towns St Patrick's Day Parade returned following a lapse of a number of years.

Ross Clery from the Clancy Brothers Music Festival says while they can see merit in combining forces they are also exploring other options.
