Emergency department at a number of hospitals serving County Tipperary are under severe pressure this lunchtime.
While there are just three people awaiting admission to South Tipp General the situation at other hospitals in the region is very different.

According to figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 39 people on trolleys or chairs at University Hospital Limerick.
Things aren't a whole lot better for patients at Cork University Hospital where there are 36 people awaiting admission.
The Emergency Department at Waterford University Hospital currently has 21 people on trolleys or chairs.
