Roscrea is in line for a much needed jobs boost with locally based FRS Recruitment among the preferred bidders to deliver the Governments Jobpath programme.

The company forms part of the Turas Nua Ltd Consortium who have been selected to deliver the programme in the Southern half of the country for the Department of Social Protection.

Jobpath aims to assist the long-term unemployed in finding suitable employment and training options.

Environment Minister and Tipperary TD Alan Kelly has praised the efforts of FRS and welcomed what will be a major boost for the town of Roscrea. He says FRS has a huge tradition of hiring people locally so he expects many people from the Roscrea area to benefit.

The fact that their head office for the project will also be based in Roscrea will in turn mean a boost for the services industry as well.
