A County Tipperary based Senator has the worst attendance record in the Seanad for the first six months of this year at just 69%.
Fianna Fail's Labhrás O'Murchu missed 19 of the 61 days the Seanad sat for in the first half of 2012 despite claiming a salary of €65,000.
Senator O'Murchu is also getting an income as a director of Comhaltas Ceoltóiri Eireann however he says it is 40% less than what he is entitled to.
Labhrás O'Murchu claimed Seanad expenses of over €25,000 last year.
