Poll finds Martin most popular candidate for Taoiseach

The Millward Brown survey for the Sunday Independent says 39 per cent of people would rather see the Fianna Fáil leader in charge while 17 per cent would choose Enda Kenny. 

The poll comes as efforts to form a Government continue – it also found that 70 per cent of us would NOT change how we voted if a second General election were called.

Both Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are due to resume talks with independents tomorrow.
