Views sought on use of election poster in the Premier County

The Electoral Commission is looking for Tipperary peoples view on election campaign posters.

It’s part of research into their use and the rules surrounding them.

For decades the use of posters during Irish elections and referendums has been the topic of debate, with many citing environmental impacts, visual pollution and safety concerns.

The deadline for submissions to the Electoral Postering Consultation is 5pm on Friday May 9th.
