No breakthrough in Northern talks

The latest move to break the political deadlock in the North appears to have failed.

DUP leader Arlene Foster says she’s prepared to do a deal on key issues like the Irish language, once power-sharing resumes.

Sinn Féin’s rejected the idea, saying it doesn’t trust the DUP to stick to its word.

Laying out her plan last night, Arlene Foster said the North hasn’t time for more talks.
