Murphy: Dáil scenes unprecedented and frustrating

A local TD says he can understand if people are frustrated after watching the chaotic scenes in the Dáil this week.

Fine Gael’s Michael Murphy was elected to represent Tipperary South for the first time in December.

But he’s served as a councillor since 2009 and has also represented Ireland on the European Committee of the Regions in Brussels.

He says he’s never seen anything like the opposition outrage over the speaking time arrangements for Michael Lowry’s Regional Group.
