May expected to finalise deal with DUP

There’s speculation a deal between the DUP leader and the British Prime Minister could be finalised today.

Theresa May is in talks to secure the support of Arlene Foster’s party for a minority Conservative government.

The proposed deal is being criticised – because the British government is supposed to be neutral in talks between the DUP and the other northern parties.

Theresa May is insisting that’s not going to change.
