Mary Lou McDonald to visit Tipperary today

Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald is set to tour the Premier county today.

She will be visiting various towns and groups across Tipperary, along with the party’s general election candidate in the constituency – Ciara McCormack.

The Sinn Féin Leader begins her whistle stop tour of Tipperary this morning at Cuain Saor and The Carers Association in Clonmel, where she’ll be joined by Cllrs Catherine Carey and David Dunne.

At around midday, Ms McDonald will meet childcare workers from Spafield and Knockanrawley resource centers, as well as with the Irish Wheelchair Association and service users in Tipp Town with Cllr Martin Browne.

In the afternoon, she’ll meet with the Cahir Development Committee, followed by a visit to Thurles where she’s set to speak to retail and hospitatility workers, as well as teachers and union reps in Hayes’ Hotel, along with Cllr David Doran,

Later in the evening, the Sinn Féin Leader will visit CARMHA – a new dual diagnosis program to deal with addiction and mental health – and it’s service users in Nenagh.

Also on a busy itinerary for Mary Lou McDonald is a visit to the Tipp FM studios where she will be a guest on Tipp Today with Fran Curry.
