Michael Lowry says he did not give two fingers to the opposition in the Dáil yesterday.
The Thurles TD was filmed making a gesture to People Before Profit’s Paul Murphy amid chaotic scenes in the Chamber after the government forced through new rules on speaking time for Deputy Lowry and his Regional Group, as well as other backbench government TDs.

The Tipperary North poll-topper has told Tipp FM news that TDs should not be videoing the Dáil proceedings in the first place.
