The opposition claims the Tánaiste hasn’t honoured their agreement over Dáil speaking rights including those of Tipperary TDs Michael Lowry and Mattie McGrath.

Mary Lou McDonald, Ivana Bacik, Cian O’Callaghan, Richard Boyd Barrett and Michael Collins say he’s now trying to force through a motion bringing unprecedented changes to Standing Orders.

They say this will turn democracy on its head.

They have tabled an amendment which would allow speaking opportunities for government TDs, including the Michael Lowry Group.
