With the general election having taken place on November 29th last Alan Kelly told Tipp Today that valuable time was being wasted.

“Look I’m talking from my office in Leinster House – the Dáil should be sitting storm or no storm because there has been no new government for two months. I think it’s ridiculous for the taxpayers of Ireland that the Dáil isn’t sitting.

A lot of the Ministers have been in government for a considerable period of time and we could have limited the amount of areas we were covering in relation to asking questions of the Taoiseach, the Tánaiste and people who were in their brief before or who weren’t new Ministers.”
