The Tipperary TD asked for time to address claims made by Sinn Fein frontbencher Pearse Doherty under Dáil Privilege last month.
Deputy Doherty repeated his claims in the Dáil yesterday that The Thurles Independent still has questions to answer about the sale of Doncaster Football Club and the destruction of documents that should have been submitted to the corruption tribunal.
Ceann Comhairle Verona Murphy told the Sinn Fein TD that she still hasn’t decided if Deputy Lowry will be allowed address the House on the issue.
