Plans for Clonmel Greyhound track unveiled

A planning application has been lodged for a new development at Clonmel Greyhound Track.

The proposals submitted to Clonmel Borough Council by Davis Road Greyhound Stadium Plc are for the construction of a new single storey greyhound racing stadium and associated external terracing.

The architects involved are Derry based Hamilton Architects.

The planning application follows on from the announcement earlier this year of a €1 million allocation for the project.

A decision is due from the planning authority towards the end of May.
