Community groups in Mid and South Tipp have unveiled plans for projects in their areas.

Planning applications have been lodged for developments in Loughmore and Ardfinnan.

A local community in Mid-Tipp have plans to open a shop and tea rooms.

The Loughmore Community Co-Operative Society has submitted a planning application to Tipperary County Council for the project.

Their proposals would entail a change of use from residential as well as the demolition of an extension to the property at Tinvoher.

A new extension would then be constructed to the side and rear together with car parking and advertising signs.

Meanwhile in the south of the county there are plans for another community development.

The former creamery on Main Street in Ardfinnan is being proposed as the site for a new playground.

The local Community Council have lodged plans with the county council to demolish the building.
