There are plans for a significant housing development in Carrick on Suir.
An application was lodged with Tipperary County Council in recent days for 72 new homes at Knocknaconnery on the Cregg Road.
However the proposals from Wicklow based Luizshire Limited has been deemed invalid – it’s likely a revised planning application will be submitted in due course.
