Peter Robinson's office says he was admitted this morning after feeling unwell.
His last major public engagement was welcoming Prince Charles to a church in Belfast on Thursday.

“The Robinson family has requested privacy, which is entirely understandable, given that the the first minister's condition is serious enough for him to have been transferred from the Ulster Hospital close to his home to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast” he said.
