People urged to donate blood this week

Tipperary people have the opportunity this week to give someone the best Christmas present possible.

The Irish Blood Transfusion Service says donations given at their clinics in Clonmel this week could save a life.

The IBTS blood donor clinics run from 3 to 5 and again from 7 to 9 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week at the Clonmel Park Hotel.

Ann O'Donovan is Donor Recruitment Manager with the service – she says donations are always needed.
