Paul Murphy has denied abusing his Dáil privilege – saying anyone who feels defamed can try to sue him if they like.

The Solidarity TD says he’s repeated his allegations of, quote, “co-ordinated perjury” against Gardai outside the Dáil chamber.

He made the comments as he submits a complaint to Dáil authorities – saying Leo Varadkar defamed him by linking him to violent behaviour in which he had no role.

He completely denies the allegations made against him of abusing his Dáil privilege earlier this week.
