Overcrowding at region’s hospitals

There's been consistant overcrowding at the region's main hospitals this week .

At South Tipperary General there are 10 patients stuck on trollies and chairs in the A&E

In Dooradoyle – which is the main hospital for people in North Tipperary there are also 10 people waiting for a bed on the wards- that figure stands at 5 in Waterford.

However Cork is the worst affected – with nursing staff trying to cope with 23 patients in the A&E awaiting admission.
