Overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick continues today

The numbers on trolleys at hospitals across the country is down significantly today.

However the overcrowding at University Hospital Limerick continues.

Of the 217 patients being treated on trolleys today 49 are at UHL which caters for North Tipp, Clare and Limerick.

The situation at South Tipp General has eased considerably with 9 people without a bed this afternoon.
