Over €400,000 allocated for water services in Tipperary.

This allocation combined is worth €413,500 for North and South Tipperary. 

North Tipperary has been granted the lion's share of the funding, with €350 thousand for Group Water Schemes – one hundred thousand will go towards treatment solutions and 250 thousand for conservation and network upgrades.

In South Tipperary, €63,500 has been allocated to the local authority – €8,500 for treatment solutions and €55 thousand for water conservation and upgrades. 

The Local Government Minister has also increased the maximum grant per house for new group water schemes by one thousand Euro to €7,475 per home.
