414 people who were admitted to Irish hospitals were treated on trolleys today.
According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, University Hospital Limerick which serves North Tipp had the highest number at 102 people without a bed.

University Hospital Galway was the next most overcrowded but had less than half the numbers at UHL with 47.
There were no beds for 13 people at TUH in Clonmel – while there was no overcrowding reported at Nenagh Hospital.
